All stainless steel hardware is used by Wiegand Liners in order to prevent corrosion and allow for easy removal if necessary. Carriage bolts and sealant are used for securing the coverstrips, insuring a water tight seal to the side wall that blocks materials from getting behind the liner. If preferred, coverstrips can be welded instead of bolted. When welding coverstips, they must be plug welded and then continuous welded on the top edge.

Stainless steel elevator bolts are used to secure the liner to the trailer. They are countersunk so that materials cannot catch on them.
